Anyone picking one of these up? I'm curious as to how far these chips can really be pushed - boasting a 5.5Ghz turbo, I'm sure the extreme liquid nitrogen enthusiasts out there will break that with ease but what is the limit?

I think heat will be the limit on these unless you go for extreme overclocking with liquid nitrogen.
LTT have delidded their 12900k and put a copper heat spreader on it and even on a big custom loop it still gets near 90c |

Aye, even with some of the custom loops we have done they're hitting high 70s or even 80s, pretty hot
