Hey guys, hope you're well.

I'm in need of an update for my gaming PC, I have a price range of £850-1,000 in VAT. I don't think I could go over £100 but I would except the option if it was strongly recommended.

My knowledge with setups is pretty weak but I've based this setup on one shown in another post with tiny changes.

http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/saving/show.aspx?id=460589

I have: monitor, keyboard, mouse and all that jazz I'm just in need of the tower.

My needs are for high graphic gaming, digital artwork and blu-ray movies.

Thanks in advance guys!

here is a slightly different spec, I've dropped to a S+S overclock (should be around 4ghz), but chose a better power supply and a better gfx for gaming

Sorry, would you recommend altering the video card and power supply from your setup in order to improve gaming?

You've hit the nail there with the pricing, well done. Would you say this build would handle high end gaming such as Battlefield 3 on "full" and the demands of Photoshop and Illustrator running along side one another?

Thanks again for your help.

Hi, the 560Ti 448 is a great card for gaming.

see: http://hexus.net/tech/reviews/graphics/32769-gigabyte-geforce-gtx-560-ti-448/?page=6

similar performance to a Nvidia GTX 570

the hight watt power supply is need for the better graphics cards and and overclock for stability.

also the case I chose is better for cooling and u can add more fans later if needed..

Hope this helps

Sorry Dodge, which case would you recommend?

My main focus regarding the case is naturally performance over aesthetic, as long as everything can keep cool and run at its best under pressure I don't mind what it looks like

Thanks again guys!

I would got for the NZXT Tempest 210 it has space for a total of 7 fans, great for extra cooling.

If I had some give with the budget, would you recommend the CoolerMaster Dominator CM-692 Mid-Tower Gaming Case over the NZXT Tempest 210?

Or is there not enough between them to justify the extra pennies? What do you thinks best? Thanks again!

Am I right in thinking more the merrier when it comes to fans? Or will your setup hold back the amount you can fit?

I am a fan of the 692, I do like the screen-ness :) that being said, what is displayed there?

in the picture of the CM 692 it has a NZXT Sentry LX which is a Fan controller for 5 fans, I'm not fussed about fan controllers but although they look good.

Oh, does it not come with that screen as standard? I guess like you said they are not essential?

Sorry for the lack of knowledge I have, I'm trying to learn and ask at the same time

Do I get fans with the case with the option to add more? If so, do you suggest I get as much fans as I can?

Thanks for the constant help guys, you're the best!

the tempest has no fans as standard the CM692 has 1 blue in the front and a Normal blackone on the rear.

you can order max case fans or max colour case fans, choosing this optio will fill the case with fans, its adds some noise, but helps keep the system cool.

the 692 will take 4 extra fans, the tempest takes 7 in total.

Cheers Dodge!

Would you recommend fans over other cooling systems? I don't mind the noise too much as I know it helps performance but do you have any suggestions to help mute the system a bit? Thanks again.

the fans aid the CPU cooling by venting the hot air in the case, so you could just add a few extra like the 3 Akasa fans so its not overly loud.

Cheers again Dodge.

I've made some minor alterations and I'm happy with the pricing. Though some things I have changed might not be needed.

http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/saving/show.aspx?id=461852

>Power supply to 750w
>Main Cooling Fan change (4125)

If you're able to review this setup and advice any alterations or the go ahead, it would be greatly appreciated.

I am in need of an SD card reader, I'm pretty certain the Flash Media Reader covers that?

Do I also NEED the software to accompany the BluRay driver?

I'm sure I would be notified if it was the case but with all the components I've selected, will they fit and work in this tower? (sorry if that's a daft questions)

Once again, your help has been awesome and I think we might be at an end here!

System specs look great, looks like you have a winner :)

as far as I know you *will* need some software for the blue ray as windows does not have any built in decoders (i could be wrong).

Enjoy :)

That's great then, I'll keep this baby saved somewhere for the coming months of earnings, thanks again for your help you two!

One last, potentially silly questions. Do the guys at Cyber' assemble the computer? Or do I receive the components apart and assemble?

Thanks again!

Sorry to come back again asking more but I was wondering if it would be wise investing into a liquid cooling system over fan?

Once again I'm sorry for my lack of knowledge here but with the build I'm looking for, a somewhat quiet machine with a high performance to give. Would I be able to achieve this with liquid cooling? Or would the noise make the experience less enjoyable?

I've been looking at the Asetek 570LX with SHARKOON Eagle SE Ultra Slient Modular Fans against the CoolerMaster Hyper 412S CPU Fan.

Would you say it's just a matter of money or will there be noticeable difference?

Thanks so much for all your help to date, I just thought I'd ask this stuff now before committing to the build - cheers!

the 570LX is a great choice paired with the sharkoons, this will give you a quiet system and great cooling.

Better than a 412s

Cheers again Dodge, right.

I believe this might be THE one haha. Minor tweaks again but mainly the same.

http://www.cyberpowersystem.co.uk/saving/show.aspx?id=463042

I feel like a child running back and forth checking everything but with all the components inside a tower of this size will the video card and liquid cooling etc fit comfortably in this case?

If I could ask one more time for you to look through the build and suggest any alterations or to give the go ahead, that would be amazing.

Would it be worth paying a little more for the 570 over the 560, which card is better?

Thanks again Dodge, I hope this will be the last post pestering you :D

Cheers 'Tech,

daft question again but I'm guessing you're one of the guys that put it together? I looked into overclocking, is that something you push the machine to achieve before dispatch or is that something I'll have to look into more. Cheers!

EDIT: I hope to buy this too: http://www.coolermaster-usa.com/product.php?product_id=2982 I'd like to see the inside you see :) that would be ok right?

I'm the one who will put your machine through its testing and quality control and do all the overclocking.

http://www.cmstore.eu/cases/cm-690/cm-690-ii/cm-690-ii-windowed-sidepanel/

same thing but from Europe easy to get delivered.

Would you recommend a SATA II Gaming MLC Solid State Disk for installing the OS or with the 2 TB on the main hard drive, it should be ok without? - Cheers

Go for a SATA III SSD, it makes use of their great speeds. HDDs just arent fast enough yet so SATA II is good for them. (Although the baracuda is SATA III its still fast!)

The SSD will boost boot times and loading times in windows and in games. Most people still have normal HDD but the SSD are starting to drop to a reasonable price, Thats going to be my next upgrade.

Excellent guys, realistically this build will take part between September/December so I'll have time to reflect on the changes on the market, do you think much will change in that time?

Price wise most definitely, once everything has been rebuild and the the market stabilises after the floods in tiwan HDD prices should (hopefully) drop. SSDs too.
