Now, onto the problem. When I'm playing games, the whole system will lock up, often resulting in a black-screen and message from the monitor that no signal is being received. Additionally, It takes a few attempts to boot it back up again when this occurs. I've also noticed that when this occurs the unit tends to get very hot. Am I perhaps not using the watercooling system properly and the system is overheating due to the high performance specs? Any pointers on this would be greatly appreciated, especially any from Cyperpower itself.

Many Thanks in advance, Barry

Hi Baz, welcome to the forums.

Can you download CoreTemp please and Run Prime95's Large FFT Torture test and post screenshots of the temperatures please after 20 minutes (or just the temps per core) , or whether it causes a crash?

You can get CoreTemp from here: http://dl.installiq.com/download/downloadpop.aspx?shortname=coretemp&a=13307&f=CoreTemp

And Prime95 from here: http://www.eocfiles.com/bdc86eb1ed2989c30dcd1902e84939ae/motherboard/utilties/p64v2511.zip

Hi Mike, I tried what you said. When running the stress test program the core-temp showed temperatures of 70-80 degrees after a while, at this point the system bleeped three times and crashed, just as it has done occasionally during gameplay. I shall try and move the tower to somewhere where it is better ventilated, and see if this helps any. Furthermore, is it possible that I need to replenish the water in the cooling system? Or perhaps that the radiator/reservoir was never filled at all, in order to avoid spilling during shipping. If either of these is the case, I would appreciate any instructions and advice on how to fill the cooling system, as it is something that I am not familiar or experienced with as of yet.
Many thanks again, Barry.

This happened again a little earlier, is there anything I can do to keep the system temperature down? Would appreciate some help.Is it possible I could reduce the overclock rate on the processor for example?   Buying a high-end gaming PC, which crashes when playing games rather defeats the point of the object, and is a disappointing aspect of an otherwise awesome system, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

The following are pictures of how my tower is situated. Is the space sufficient for proper airflow?

hi Baz, how much room is there above the top of the tower, on that system all the hot air is exhausted from the top of the pc, if there is limited space, that might be a cause of the over heating, although 70-80c sounds fine for the water cooling, do you get any type of Blue screen crash information?

No, there's no blue-screen info given. As suggested in tech support e-mail, I've used GPU-Z and monitored the temp after 10 minutes playing a game (Hitman:Blood Money) and got a temp of 66 on GPU1 Fanspeed 45%/2100 rpm and 52on GPU2 Fanspeed 40% 1590rpm. Would that be too high? Especially on the first one, considering that it was only 10 minutes of play, for it to spike that much is a little concerning. There's appoximately 5-6cm of space between the top of the tower and the desk, which definitely sounds too little.

you can get a program called blue screen view, for ease of use to list the bsods, I would try moving the pc out from under the desk and running it in a open environment to rule out if it over heating from poor airflow, also might be worth running hdtune and scan the HDD for errors.
