Hey, so i'm looking to buy a gaming pc that is around the £500-600 mark. I mostly play minecraft at the moment and getting low fps, due to playing on a netbook. Although in the near future i'd like to start to play other pc games such as battlefield.
Is there any computers that anyone would recommend, i've looked around and know a few things, but im quite new to all this so a little help on choosing a system would be appreciated. |

Hi,
Welcome to the forums, hope I can help you out. I've specced up a £600 (inc VAT) system that will cope with BF3 on Medium to High settings and chew through Minecraft. 
This is base unit only with no monitor etc... so let be know if you need those as well. |

this system seems great. although, i would need windows surely? which would knock up the price.
any other systems that you would recommend that are around the same price that include a monitor or windows? (even a little over budget) that would run at the same performance or a bit lower. |

No, get Windows 8 Preview, it's free and games faster than 7. I saw on HUKD that you would be able to get a License for £26 once it's released.
Any may, I dropped the GPU down a notch to the 6750 and added a 22" screen and it comes in at £645 Edited by Cyber_Tech - 06/Jul/2012 at 22:49 |
