hi
i have a new cyberpower pc and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to a gtx 680 with my current pc specs. they are CoolerMaster Elite 500watt Gaming Power Supply i7 3770k cpu 8 gig ram p8z68 - VLX motherboard will the power supply be sufficient to run the gtx 680? |

The GTX680 is just a little too much for that PSU, it will run it but you may get a noise from the PSU like inductor whine. It doesn't happen with the 7950 and GTX 670.
So it will run but it may shorten the life of your PSU. |

To be honest i have the gtx 550ti installed and its running max payne 3 , battlefield 3 , crysis all very smooth and looks awesome ... The gtx 670. Would be more than enough i think Ps ... loving my cyberpower pc .. Fkin awesome :) Edited by matski303 - 18/Jun/2012 at 04:34 |
