hi
i have a new cyberpower pc and was wondering if it is possible to upgrade to a gtx 680 with my current pc specs.

they are
CoolerMaster Elite 500watt Gaming Power Supply
i7 3770k cpu
8 gig ram
p8z68 - VLX motherboard

will the power supply be sufficient to run the gtx 680?

The GTX680 is just a little too much for that PSU, it will run it but you may get a noise from the PSU like inductor whine. It doesn't happen with the 7950 and GTX 670.

So it will run but it may shorten the life of your PSU.
