Hi there

I had a past problem of CPU over heating (fixed bow due to loose CPU cooler) but now I'm running into BSOD while playing games I have no dump files on my computer anymore as I tried changing the OC profile to noOC and the system failed to start up and had to a recovery.

Although the BSOD code was 124

I noticed other people posting on the forums but I'm not sure about attempting their possible fixes as all the hardware and software is different.

My Specs

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2550K CPU @ 3.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~3.4GHz (OC'd)
Memory: 8192MB RAM
GPU: Nvidia GTX 570 1GB
OS: Win 7 (64)
Motherboard: P8Z68-V LX

Thankyou! I have set it to the recommended setting you had told me the only thing I had lowered was the CPU multiplier to 43.

Although I was wondering if there is any better suggestions of cooling? would an after market GPU cooler help or better fans even though my current ones are around 1770 RPM

I want to keep them low so my system wont burn out quick! when I had my CPU issues it was around 100c got it down to 50 - 60 now speed fan says its around 50 + but on HMW it says lower

I kind of feel like I shot myself in the foot going for this case due to some of it's airflow issues.

Speedfan is reading CPUTIN as the CPU temerature, look at core 0, 1, 2, 3 for comparisons.

These days I trust HWMonitor more than SpeedFan, CoreTemp and Real Temp.

For your system I can only really recommend getting a better case as the Silencio only supports three fans and swapping them for more potent units will defeat the purpose of getting a quiet case. You may be able to improve airflow by removing the top HDD cage and the rear expansion card slot covers.
