Personally I can't be more excited about it, I loved the original and second ME.

I've always played through ME and ME2 at least twice over as different class and morale tree.

Have you played the demo?

What do you think about the multiplayer?

Do you think the rumored Prothean companion (exclusive to Delux edition and DLC) which has been leaked and subsequently dismissed will still come out?

A quick note for nvidia users. You need a 295 series driver for the ME3 demo.

Current NVIDIA WHQL 295.73

I never got ME2 - after finding out I should have kept my save games from ME1 I lost interest. I also still have plenty left in my 'unplayed' pile to get through - but I may pick up ME3 once a GOTY version comes out with all the stupid DLC and is cheap enough.

What silly person would forget to update their drivers before playing ME3... then panic and post of the forums...

I played it, looks great and have to say coming from xbox from ME1 and ME2 i actually like using the keyboard and mouse better as you cant use an xbox controller with the demo. Usually i cant aim so save my life with a mouse thats why i used a 360 pad but the controlls are really good!!

Oh and gameplays great too :)

Been playing ME1, ME2 and imported the save into ME3, a bit annoyed that some of the characters you invested so much gaming time with now only have short cameos in the story of ME3. I'm only a few hours in though so hopefully it will improve.

just from my personal interpretation, but...

Mass Effect 3 is more of an Action then RPG
as opposed to
Mass Effect 2 which I felt is more of an RPG then Action
