So far I am very pleased with the service, competitive rates, great website, great post sale care from looking at the forum. I am also very pleased with the order status option, shame I am most likely slowing down the server constantly refreshing it :P

I wont get long to bench it so any changes will have to be sooner rather than later. I'll give the 6950 a go at unlocking to 6970 but no promises...

Done, benched OK overnight with 3.8GHz on the CPU and the 6950 unlocked. A bit more testing today and I'll get it out later.

Do you guys think this set up can run crysis 2 on max?
We have some awesome games coming out soon:
Deus Ex 3
Crysis 2
Dragon Age 2
Assassins Creed 3
How do you think the above specs will handle these power sucking games?

That's with this system
- Intel Core i7 920
- x3 2GB G.Skill DDR3 PC3-12800 (CAS 7-7-7-20)
- Asus P6T Deluxe (Intel X58)
- OCZ ZX Series 1250w
- Seagate 500GB 7200RPM (Serial ATA300)
- GeForce GTX 580
- GeForce GTX 570
- GeForce GTX 560 Ti
- GeForce GTX 460 1GB
- Radeon HD 6970
- Radeon HD 6950
- Radeon HD 6870
- Radeon HD 5770
Software
- Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
- Nvidia Forceware 266.66
- Nvidia Forceware 266.58
- ATI Catalyst 10.12

It should handle all the other titles equally or better.

Am I right in saying that above 45 fps is good for gaming?

Depends on the game. I find less than 40 fps feels bad on shooters, less than this and multiplayer performance falls right off but on single player I can cope down to 24fps. On driving games I can cope 15 fps minimum as this tends to happen in only during crashes where the CPU is busy working out which chunks of car got bent. On strategy titles as little as 10fps can still be playable even if the animations look awful.

For most monitors 60fps is considered ideal as it matches the native refresh rate of the panel (unless you have a 120Hz screen in which case 120fps would be ideal). So I usually tweak for a minimum in the 40s and average a little over 60fps.

The figures I gave before are average figures from the leaked beta (timedemoing that is a nightmare btw).

If the drive is not opening, and its not detected then it can only be a power cable issue.

Check the SATA power cable is in ok (maybe take it out and put it back in)

Managed to solve problem, connection was slightly loose on one end of the connector, pushed it in a bit further and turned back on and it was working : )
Installing black ops now, loving this screen, amazing clarity!
