Hey guys,
Not seeing much action in these threads, does this mean that no-one here is playing? I bought the game the other day just to see what it's like and quite enjoyed the initial hour
 Anyway When I first bought it my CP PC was being built so I installed it on the wifes laptop (which is far from capable of playing games lol). But....managed to at least kick it off and also set it into DirectX 10 mode. However upon installing it on my lovely new CP monster, I found that this option is now disabled
 Is this disabled across the board or is there something wrong with my DirectX version? I ran dxdiag and it reported no errors and showed version 10 so am very confused |

Load the latest DirectX redistributable from www.softwarepatch.com/windows and it should re-appear

Cheers Mike, I'll give it a go tonight
Not sure if it's the same one but I did get the November distribtion before I installed as I read on teh AoC forums about it, but I'll try this anyways

Hi, I recently bought AoC and have the same prob with Dx10 option.Cannot get it to activate and have the latest version installed already...Only played for 30 mins due to hammering WAR!!

Yeah it seems wierd that I was able to enable it on th wifes laptop, but not on mine
Tried re-installing the November directX 9.0c but no joy.

hi,
I purchased the game due to trailers of Dx10 enhanced graphics and am still stuck with DX9....i've done exactly the same as you but nowt seems to happen.Will persevere for a bit but at the mo prefer warhammer.Gets on yer nerves as i have a radeon 4870 and quad core cpu and they aren't being used.happy hunting...let me know if you sort it and HOW!thanks.

Posted the question on AoC forums regarding DX10 and reply i got was that it isnt activated in the game yet.
