    Posted: 01/Dec/2008 at 13:34
Hey Cyberpower, Whysammy here with yet another problem with his pc.
Lately i have been getting these 1 second blue screens...they started around 2-3 weeks ago...the problem seems to happen mostly on a daily basis getting 1 to 2 blue screens a day, My pc restarts and then everything is back to normal...due to the blue screen being a second long this is all i could pull out of the error reporting.

C:\DOCUME~1\Sam\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER9188.dir00\Mini120108-01.dmp

C:\DOCUME~1\Sam\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER9188.dir00\sysdata.xml

Hope this is of some help and please help me fix my poor pc Cry

I need the error codes to discern what they are. If you keep tapping F8 on startup to get the Windows boot menu and select the "disable automatic system restart on system failure" that'd help loads.

Yeah it'll then stop and give you the BSOD

When does it occur? Any particular time? Can you force it to occur for example

0xA is always a driver issue.

Uninstall your video and sound drivers, and load the latest versions from www.guru3d.com

It's a CD image - you have to use a CD, not a DVD
