Hi,
needed a new pc so popped in to have a look and mess with some configurations.

I had intended to spend £1000 to 1500 in total(including monitor)

Sli Titans......

2500 x 1440 monitor.....

Why is all this tech so sexy!

Ended up spending £4907

YES!
I got it, set it all up and the screen is screwed.

There is no physical damage that I can see but when it turns on it looks like a pane of glass that has been shot with a bullet.
It looks so much like a shot screen that I thought it must be some joke by the manufacturer.
Will call you guys about what to do tomorrow, though I should warn you I am pissed off.

Never heard of that, can you post a picture?

Give support a call ASAP and we'll get the screen replaced.

Soooo the replacement screen arrived and have played about a little, not as much as I'd like due to my latest real world misadventure(I am wearing a gas mask as I type), the details of which make me look like approximately as much of a tool as I actually am-hence why I won't divulge them.

Have done little more then a couple benchmarks, scored 15733 in the firestrike thing which seems about right compared to others with similar setup. I'm setting physx to the cpu but still says driver invalid. http://www.3dmark.com/fs/465829

I'm new to having a high end pc so there is much for me to learn once I deal with the current crisis.

I like a game called 'path of exile' but whenever I try to play it the screen freezes after a minute or so everytime and whole pc locks up. What do I do in this situation? wait for it to sort itself out or, as I have been doing, press reset?
I can't say for sure if it is isolated to that game alone as I haven't actually played anything else yet. Guess I will see when Metro LL finishes downloading.
